I know that many people did not know Jay, he was in my homeroom since the Jane Long days. A little known fact about Jay is that he saved our Homecomming Bonfire for our Sr year. With only a few days to go till Homecomming we didn't have a place to set up our Bonfire. Jay approched me with the idea of talking to his father who's title company held title to the area where we eventually got permission to have our Homecomming Bonfire. So for everyone who didn't know Jay,,let's just say,,Thank You My Friend,,I knew you for Years and we grew to be friends for along time. Jay You were always so generous and it was reflected when you saved our Homecomming. I'll be seeing you!!!!!!!

Jay and I shared several classes. What a nice, friendly person he was.

I had several classes with Jay.  We also crossed paths while we were at UT.  I feel like I sort of grew up with him.  He was FUNNY.   What a wry, caustic wit!  He had a line for everybody, and never suffered a fool.   He was funniest in gym class, mostly because he'd rather walk naked down Bellaire Blvd. than do anything athletic.  But he had a great sense of humor about it.  Jay Wransichar was more an acquaintance than a friend, but I know I'd sure get a kick out of visiting with him at these reunions.  He was a damn clever, interesting person, with a lot on the ball, who had way too much to offer to be taken from us so young.
