We are so happy to announce the Lori McGlamery Portugal Scholarship Fund to honor our dear friend. This scholarship will be awarded annually to a deserving Texas high school student who is in yearbook or journalism.

The Lori McGlamery Portugal Scholarship awards $1,000 every other year to an outstanding senior student who served as a yearbook editor or staff member, or a student who will major in journalism at an institution of higher education.

The scholarship was created to honor the memory of Lori McGlamery Portugal and to promote participation in and recognize achievements of Texas public high school senior students who are involved in high school yearbook or newspaper. The scholarship recipient will be determined by the Texas Interscholastic League Foundation.

Also, the Texas Interscholastic League Foundation has graciously agreed to match any donation you make with a contribution to the foundation's endowment fund for this year.
