Comments:

I married Michael in 1984 and we moved up to his hometown of Buffalo, New York, where we lived for 23 years.
We moved back to the Houston area in 2010, and now live in Katy (which was nothing but rice paddies and cow grazing when we were in high school). Our daughter is a CMA, and runs the office for a pediatric neurologist. Emily has also given us a beautiful grandson, Logan, who is the joy of my heart! Our son Will completed one year of college, in the musical theatre program at Sam Houston State University, and is now a professional actor.
I'm very involved in my home church, St. Peter's UMC, where I'm Chaplain for the Chancel Choir, and director of the Kindergarten choir, as well as a member of UMW. Our chancel choir was invited to sing at Carnegie Hall this June, and I'm so excited. Mark that one off my bucket list!!

School Story:

I remember when we were rehearsing for Once Upon A Mattress and Annabette was to play the part of Fred. We got Miss Brown to give us both passes to get out of class so I could go help her rehearse a dance number. Miss Brown said on the note Annabette has to learn how to bump and grind and Florence has to help her. I still can't believe she did that, or that it worked.

Happy birthday sweetie. Sorry this is a day late. Spent the last few days in hurricane clean up efforts and lost track of the days. Hope you had a great day. Come see me soon (not too soon unless you plan to swim here...lol). We are OK and didn't flood. Just trying to help our community get back on it's feet.

I really enjoyed seeing so many of y'all at the reunion last month. Can't wait to do that again! You know, I hear from a lot of friends that they never attend a reunion, they've got nothing in common with high school mates, their class had no spirit, yada yada. So glad that's not the case here. I just smile and tell my friends that Sharpstown Class of '75 ROCKS!!

Happy birthday Sue! I was hoping to see you at the reunion last month, but either I couldn't find you in that crowd, or you didn't make it. All the same, I hope you have a day filled with peace and joy (oh, and some outrageous fun!)

Kyle, it was so great to see you at the reunion. Your hair is shorter, but other than that, I don't think you've changed a bit!! So glad we got to hang out. Message me next time you're in Houston and we can get together.

I am so psyched that you're coming to the reunion! I'll look for you upon arrival.

I was hoping to see Annabette at the next reunion.  So sad to have lost such a lovely girl.  I remember working with her on Once Upon A Mattress, and how much fun we had.   She played Fred, and it was like the part was written just for her!

She's also the one who turned me on to the phenomenal salad dressing at Pizza Hut, where we would sneak off every so often for lunch.

Annabette was so fun-loving and hilarious!   The world is a little colder for not having her in it.   Thank you for being my friend, Annabette, and sharing a little of your life with me.   You will always be remembered fondly.  I will honor your wishes and send a donation to KSBJ in your memory.
