Have worked at HISD entire career and spent 15 years teaching at Sharpstown High. Was manager of social studies teacher development specialists in the district. Now am a curriculum specialist in social studies.

Hey everyone,
Tomorrow, August 27th is the first day of school in HISD. Superintendent Lathan has issued an "alumni challenge". Everyone that graduated from an HISD school or works at one is asked to wear school colors or school shirt and post to social media - #StandwithHISD.

Whatever school has the most posts wins a superintendent's tailgate. I don't know what that is exactly, but wanted to see if SHS could win with the Class of 75's help.
